Reflection of weeks 9

Reflection of weeks 9

This week was call mobile learning (m-learning).  I'll put many pictures with some comments to express the events as following:
Reflection of session m-learning in Omnia :
Date: 3 jun 2012:

In fact the session of the evaluation and assessment not much useful than m-learning. So that I will talk about Omnia in Espoo which is the very good idea and interesting visit. I would like to thanks all people specialist Mrs Mervi Jansson to arrange and invite us in Omnia. Mervi and the staff welcome us to take cup of coffee, also after good session they invited us to take good dinner.  During the session I was feeling strange most of this applications new, how they are training this application now a days. They answer to me we were starting before two years ago in Omnia and the technician man of training said some of the application will started to training before two months ago. I wish to find like this vocational training centers in my country and offer training in different fields to help and what they needs for jobs or find jobs. They gave everyone an Ipad, then they explained how to use these programs practically. Giving learners a chance to conduct programs using the devices not by lecturing helps them to learn easily. I started using these program immediately after the interesting visit. The main point of that visit was taught us how to use Ipads, mobile phones in our classes ( Mobile Learning in a Nutshell ) which will assist me as a teacher to be connected with my students everywhere and not only inside the classroom. They provided plenty of apps such as dropbox, idea flight, I movie, popplet, posterous, puppetpals, Qrafter, sound cloud, stripdesigner etc.. In general the visit was very fantastic and I enjoyed it very much. So, It is not enough one day.

Katri and Marja ended the week by revising all theories gave us at the beginning of the course. They divided us in groups where we discussed and summarised each theory. Then chose randomly  one member from each group explained the theory to the class. This way I think good for us to  understood all theories well. Finally, Katri and Marja did great job.

Complet of reflection week 8

 Complet of reflection week 8

    Reflection of session no2.
Date: 24 May 2012:

On the other day, we went to Team Academy model at University of Applied Sciences. We had a dialogue there with two students. They explained to us their school's principles. As they said, each group of students share one business and they work as a team.  To get their certificate, they should run the business and in the same time they should meet the coaches ( I like this name in training ) in the school and make dialogues about the business with them for many times in scheduled. My opinion this is a good idea that they learn naturally in the real environment of life. However, I think the risk of losing much money is very high and in the same time, this way of leaning might make them knowledgably weak because of that they do not learn many important subjects such as math and some important languages. So, they should be theoretical prepared. I learnt new way in education from Team Academy (TIIMI AKATEMIA) in vocation training.

Reflection of session no3.
Date: 14 May 2012:
The session was also presented  by Dr. Merja  and Dr katri  at Haaga-Helia in Helsinki has started with given pretrial  game for our college.  It is assessment game for each one in the class. I like this way to give my student more confidantes to solve any questions in the mathematics. Also they use other assessment like this example, If I gave him the answer of the equations in the same paper and cut it to six pieces for all student to found the right answer and so on… at the end I will assessment the student during they doing. this is more important skill for assessment.
